You can use Preview to see how your map will look when published as you’re working on your map.
Go to the Display menu and click the Preview Map button:

This will show you the full page Preview:

The Preview includes the Filters feature, which lets you select Markers by type:

And also the Search function, which uses auto complete text search across Titles, Descriptions, and Tags:
